Specialized Deflect Reflect Hybrid Jacket
$400.00
Making a jacket that does one thing well is pretty easy. Making a jacket that does one thing perfectly is pretty hard. And making a jacket does everything exceptionally is next to impossible. Well, you could say that they specialize in the impossible, because the new Deflect Reflect Hybrid Jacket flawlessly performs a bevy of duties, from protection to visibility. Starting with protection, it's made from Specialized's wind- and water-resistant Deflect material. This fabric is extremely lightweight and breathable, so you won't ever experience that rainforest feeling in high humidity conditions. But if things do start to heat up while you're throwing down the watts, they've included two front vents, a large back vent, and laser perforated exhaust points throughout the jacket. To keep water out, the jacket also features adjustable wrist seals, a zipper garage at the collar, a drop tail to deflect road-spray, and an adjustable drawcord hem. Specialized also designed this jacket to be extremely versatile, and to complement this, the sleeves are made to be completely removable. This way, you're able to wear it as a jacket when it's pouring, and then zip off the sleeves and stow them away after you catch a break in the weather. Now, to tackle the "reflect" portion of the title, this jacket features a Schoeller fabric with 3M reflective technology that takes millions of microscopic glass beads and permanently seals them to the fabric structure. As you can imagine, this feature will increase your visibility to others on the road when it encounters light. And better yet, this benefit will not wash out over time.
Specialized Deflect H2O Road Jacket
$209.99
Getting caught in the rain is one thing, but starting your day in lousy conditions is a whole other story. And for when the heavens are open and the water is pouring at the start of your day, we have the Deflect H2O Road Jacket. The solution to this problem all starts with the materials, which is why we used our own 2.75-layer Deflect fabric for the construction. This woven fabric rests at the pinnacle of active weather protection, boasting equal parts breathability and wind/water resistance. And furthering these features, the jacket includes protective wrist seals and watertight, coated zippers throughout. To keep water off of your head, the jacket also features a drawstring at the bottom hem to customize the fit and prevent wheel-spray from infiltrating the jacket, while a heightened collar performs similar duties at the neck. Meanwhile, we included a zippered pocket at the rear to house and protect your small ride essentials and electronics. - Deflect 2.75-layer is a woven fabric that's wind-resistant, water-resistant, and highly breathable in order to maintain an effective barrier between you and elements, while micro-fleece dots raise the fabric off the body to create channels for airflow. - Fully taped seams prevent water intrusion, keeping you dry and protected for years to come. - One rear zippered pocket houses your small ride essentials and electronics. - Watertight YKK AquaGuard zippers prevent unwanted water seepage. - Wrist seals prevent wind and water from entering the jacket via the sleeve openings. - Elastic cord waist adjustment lets you customize the fit, while also keeping wheel-spray out of the jacket - Higher back collar seals out wind and water at the neck. - High-visibility, reflective elements increase your visibility to motorists in low-light conditions. - Deflect UV 50+ protects your skin from harmful ultraviolet rays. - Form Fit closely & precisely conforms to the curves of the body, ensuring an unrivaled level of fit and comfort.
Specialized Therminal Alpha Jacket
$200.00
When you ride in frigid conditions, your options for lightweight insulation under your outerwear are limited. It's typically been a fleece jersey with rear pockets that only adds to bulk and weight. Insulation with a high warmth-to-weight ratio, like down feathers or polyester fiber-fill are ideal, but those materials need to be encapsulated with a coated fabric to contain them, cutting breathability down significantly. Our solution is Polartec Alpha insulation that provides insulation without the need to encapsulate, giving you unimpeded breathability for a warm, dry ride. The outer shell is lightweight and uncoated, furthering the flow of perspiration and allowing the piece to packable when you need to de-layer when things get too hot. The jacket is designed to be worn under an outer jacket, such as our Deflect H2O pieces, so the fit is close to the body to eliminate any bulk. An under-the-helmet hood provides an added wind layer and traps heat in where you lose it, at the top of your head, and we finish off the neck and wrists with reflective binding for visibility in case you're caught out after sundown. - Woven outer shell with 90g Polartec Alpha breathable insulation combines to create a packable and warming insulation piece. - A non-insulated hood is intended to be used under the helmet to keep the wind at bay and to trap heat on cold rides. - Two front hand pockets keep your hands warm off the bike and provide room for your small essentials and electronics. - Inside pockets are perfect to store a hat or gloves when things start to heat up. - Edge binding at the wrists and collar seal in warmth and feature reflective tape woven-in for increased visibility to motorists in low-light conditions. - Deflect UV 50+ protects against harmful UV rays. - The fit is close to the body for layering under outerwear. For a looser, "street fit," we recommend one size up. - Shell fabric weight: 48g
