Originally designed in the 1950s when the Bianchi-Pirelli team requested a pump that could fit under the rear seat of the Fiat team car, the Pista pump quickly became an icon of professional team cars and mechanic workstations at 6-Day track events around the world. The compact form of the pump, and the ability to lay completely flat, allow the pump to take up minimal space in a trunk, duffel bag, or larger tool kit, making it a true icon of the sport amongst the cycling cognoscenti. In 2017, we took all of the qualities of the original Pista and introduced a re-engineered, limited-edition version of the pump with the iconic Molteni orange barrel to celebrate 100 years in business. These modern orange pumps were initially meant to be a limited-release product to celebrate our heritage, but the positive response and demand for the product have continued. We've developed the best travel-ready bicycle floor pump for cyclists on the go. The Digital Travel Floor Drive has been built to be as efficient as possible while maintaining ultimate portability. It utilizes our traditional floor pump tech-an aluminum barrel, steel piston, and fully rebuildable internals-in addition to its innovative foldable stainless-steel feet, a low-profile ergonomic Composite Matrix handle, and an ultra-compact digital pressure gauge integrated into the hose. The hose is incredibly long at 99cm, making it functional with all bikes, even when they are mounted in repair stands. Weighing only 792 grams (1.75lbs), measuring 51cm long, and packing up to a scant 10cm wide makes it the most efficient floor pump for its size and portability. The new Prestaflator Digital is made possible by Prestacycle's new Rapid Response Digital Gauge. During inflation, the gauge is capable of showing immediate changes in pressure, enabling fast inflation – now with supreme accuracy. The gauge uses highly accurate, non-wearing circuitry for pressure readings, so it does not wear-out or loose accuracy like traditional Dial gauges. Highly accurate readings are across the whole range, making this tool excellent for Fat Tire, Cyclocross, MTB as well as Road Bikes. Easy Tool-less replacement of the two CR2032 batteries (included).
